Social sports app for Tyrolean start-up
The Tyrolean start-up Scorrior had the vision of creating a platform that not only promotes sporting interaction, but also introduces an objective rating system for players. With a mix of gamification and technological innovations, the company aims to appeal to both recreational and ambitious players.
The project was initiated with the support of funding and investors. The aim was to develop a native app for iOS and Android with an intuitive user experience and a scalable backend.

Scorrior score
At the heart of the app is an innovative rating system based on the Elo number (known from chess) and Glicko-2.
Here’s what Scorrior can do
Player matching and competition mode:
- Users can search for teammates by location, skill and sport.
- The app supports various competition modes and ensures fair matches by matching players with a similar Scorrior Score.
Scorrior Score – The rating that makes the difference:
- Dynamic, precise and fair: The score is based on Elo and Glicko 2 logic and takes into account the opponent’s victory, defeat and level of difficulty.
- It motivates users through comprehensible progress indicators.
Cross-platform app:
- Developed with Flutter to provide a consistent user experience on iOS and Android.
- Fast loading times and a modern design for intuitive navigation.
Backend and middleware:
- A robust Laravel-based middleware ensures scalability and high performance.
- Data and API management are optimized to support both real-time reviews and a growing user base.
Marketing landing page:
- A central point of contact for interested parties that introduces the app’s features, explains the Scorrior score system and engages with the community.
